invest in a smoothy maker and a george forman grill..eat loads of salads alongside your proteins..plenty of probiotics..a healthy digestion is one that is working properly..plenty of fluids..fibre and fruit..switch your sugar intake to honey and swap to herbal teas.

Find a diet that you enjoy eating but also works with your body and stick to it, the body likes regularity , takes a little while for it to adjust. Just keep it simple and make sure your getting all the vitals you need. Agree with the above little and often to speed the metabolism up, if your having trouble loosing weight maybe get a food intolerance test done and speak to a qualified dietcian or doctor / personal trainer to cater a diet that is good for you...be carefull of some of these diet processed foods some of them are packed with other junk.

Running is brilliant to help cut the calories, dont fret if your not able to run like an athlete first off build it up gradually each time..jog and fast pace walking a little then do a run for a minute, then repeat then build up pushing your running for longer.
Do a mixture of running, swimming and circuit training, make sure you stretch out and warm up/down...work on your spare tyre that way also :)
As long as your healthy and fit is the main thing, I been working on this the past month, gave up all my guilty pleasures..no more JD and Coke! :( full of sugar!
I havent lost mass amounts of weight yet (12/14 size) but I know what Im putting into my body is good stuff, nothing processed so only good will come out of it and eventually ill reap the rewards, so dont get too disheartened or give up if you dont see the weight dropping off..you will feel alot better as a result! its hard work but turned into a enjoyable hobby now try FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to keep track of your progress...Always good to buddy up with a friend and do things competitively also to spur you on. If that fails press the pm or search on here theres loads of good threads that give varying types of advice :)

Hope this helps, im no specialist but thats the tips ive been told ..im sure some of the guys will be able to assist your further, good luck!

The 2 step guide to weight loss.

Chapter 1. Eat less.
Chapter 2. Exercise more.

I've got a publishing deal ready for you to sign by Email.
Just the small issue of printing costs, I'll get the brother in law to quote you.
Would you be prepared to do a tour and signings.

Hi Dremk,
To lose excess weight start cardio exercises as cardio exercises helps in burning fat, improving metabolism and helps in losing weight. Cardio exercises may include running, sprinting, cycling, swimming, hiking, jumping rope, step climbing and trampoline. In diet break your meals in 5/6 small meals including snacks and prefer raw food over processed food and increase your water intake. Avoid eating before going to bed.

There are a lot of factors that involve losing the spare tire. Some of which include but are not limited to current state of fitness, time since last exercise regime, date of last medical exams, blood work and results, heredity etc All of these are factors to consider.

1. I would start by getting the all clear from my GP and some blood works.
2. Start walking and try to get up to 20 minutes then build up slowly to where you can do 40 min 3 times a week.
3. Sleep 8 hours a day
4. Limit Alcohol intake
5. Watch your calories, fats, carbs, proteins etc
6. Start a resistance training program with someone who has knowledge of fitness. I would not suggest you do a military fitness class or something like this to start.
7. Medications that you are currently taking
8. Reduce fizzy drinks to where you have the bare minimum during the week.

This is just a small list and I am sure there are many more I could add. But just off the top.

see my comment on the other thread called "Diet - is that all there is to it".
The system i mentioned there is simple to do, and it does not cause you to be
hungry all the time. works well for me - any time I need to knock some weight
off my body.

cheers,

Well!!According to my search that exercise has own importance and diet has
own importance. All you've to do is to keep a balanced diet with suitable weight
loss exercises like running, jogging, walking, etc so you can burn your calories
fast and quick. Eat good, eat right but eat less..

Do everything that makes you sweat like a pig - running, skipping, swimming, martial arts(recommended),there`s many options bud.You are still a teenager so I would avoid weights workout.Balance your diet.Anyway, somebody above mentioned golden rule - eat less and train more.It works perfect for me.And never give up!!
