hi to every single one this is my first post.I have seen more or less everywhere in the forum but my question is maybe new.Iam italian with 5 years of experience in many agencies like door supervisor and bodyguard,but unfortunately without a military career...i would like to know if there is a real chance to get a job like CPO if i'am a simple "foreigner civilian"...(SIA training in october can help!?) thanks a lot for every answer!
 
Lots of people work in cp who aren't ex military. Some people actually look for non military, work in iraq and afghan and the like is to be fair mostly ex military as it should be in my opinion as they have all the relevant skills for the job, but other work you don't have to be ex mil.

It is said here before that some Arabs clearly do NOT want CPO's that have served as PSD in Afghanistan and Iraq.
 
havin worked for arabs, they mostly want total civi's no military and or police exp. i would recommend a course with clearwater as they have major contracts with the arabs and 4 members on our course who had no military exp and where not english nationals got work from beinf on the course

I have ended up on jobs, were i was not as qualified as many others.
But I was trusted and respected.
Their opinion of my capabilities, were sometimes higher than I thought deserved.
But I'm still here and still getting the work.

G'Day mate tell me from one old bloke to another old bloke would you be able to give me the heads up on which companies prefere employing mature experenced and motivated security operatives for high risk CP, PSD,AIT etc? Any leads in this regard would be great. Cheers
 
thanks for your answers!i work regurarly with arab and russian clients but just during the summer (they are on holiday) and only on Italian field...i am looking for a good training to do that can help me to find works during all the year and over Italy...clearwater is ok!and something else?!thanks for your time!!!

hey ,mate pm me i might have some work for you in malta,after you get an sia licence malta (ex british)they like the sia......
 
I worked for malta's embassy an year ago...they are to small like country but very "present" like strenght in the world.in italy ,in particular in Rome(there is the Pope) Malta is very important.it's very rich and powerful...
