EODT HAVE JUST SLASHED OUR WAGES, STARTING FROM APRIL 1ST!
NO WARNINGS OR ANYTHING.....JUST PLAIN OLE TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!

and before anyone says well lucky you still have that. To not have any prior warning so you can plan ahead is one hell of a kick in the teeth...
For most guys, that is a 50% cut! some even 80%!!!

So for a little over 9quid an hour, i am away from my family having to put up with sh*t............oh well i suppose i get my meals for free!!!
Are Tescos still employing??

Sign off the times. We are feeling the squeeze back here in the UK over the full range of security services. Annoying for you when you cant finish your shift and go home ! Strike action would only open the floodgates for employing TCN's
 
yes so I heard, its not worth it..I know its a job but surely earning that money is pretty much a static security job in the western world.
Why risk your life for free food?
I gues they didnt tell you guys so they have bought themself some time, people will quit I am sure of it but it will not happend in a month or two I guess.
Here I am looking for a job again in the place youre working, but I wouldnt swap with you..

Mate, the food gag was a joke ;).........

You're very right it aint worth it, hence why my sent box is getting full to the rafters with sent CV's.........

What a joke, 9 pounds for what, you risking your life and your wife and child risking not having a father and husband. Tell them to stuff it mate, and yes I know that jobs don't grow on trees, but weigh up the pros and cons.

at least they gave you the option to stay on i'm sure you heard bout the CET teams, we were given 2hrs to pack up and get to the IZ.
 
Commando Just for your information i worked for Tesco supermarket and i was stacking shelves for more than you are on mate. If you need a contact for them let me know. They also give you cheap food if you work for them. Get out of it mate. I heard EODT are always shafting guys. All the head sheads are money grabbers. What are the Americans on? I bet they dont drop their money. Just down tools mate and **** them right up. They will more than likely replace you with cheap Romanian labour. Stay safe
 
give dynacorp a bell mate... leave rotation is pants.. but money is not to bad i hear..

aegis are rammed out at the mo with a big fat waiting list
april there should be some contracts awarded so work may pick up
as the septics have a draw down some one has to replace them so over the next 12 months things should shake out a little
