Gents, we are doing a fund raiser for the Rhondda Branch of the Royal Artillery Association here in South Wales.
We are running a 3 Day First Aid at Work Course on the 14th, 15th, & 16th of September 2011. Cost is just £130.00 per candidate and all monies will be given to the Rhondda Branch of the Royal Artillery Association for their Remembrance Sunday Concert and service of Remembrance on November 13th 2011.
If we can fill the course, the Branch will get £1,560.00 which will more than cover the costs of the concert and service and help the lads have a good drink.
All the instructors and assessors are giving up their time free for this course so that the Rhondda Branch gets every penny from the candidates fees.
we can also sort out accommodation which is approximately £25.00 per night (Even cheaper if people share rooms).
So spread the word, lets fill the course and lets help the Rhondda Branch out.

Gents if anyone has served in 40 Field Regiment (Lowland Gunners), the Regiment is to be "mothballed" next year. 137 Java Battery will go to 19 field who will be known as the sciottish artillery regiment.
There will be a parade and drinks in Edinburgh next summer june time no firm date as yet.
Sad Day and no doubt more regiments to follow 40 Field.
