What are you listening to

I listen to a large variety of music. I prefer the heavier side like metal, industrial and alternative. Currently, I've been listening to a lot of Russian alternative music, like Tracktor Bowling, 3000 Миль До Рая (3000 Miles to Paradise), and Слот (Slot).
 
I'm currently listening to my kid making a horrendous noise as he sings along to Lynryd Skynyd's Sweet Home Alabama.

currently listening to 'scouting for girls' 'The Cure' greatest hits and 'The Script' oh and The Wanted.....against my will from the kids playroom... godam why did we buy them that stereo for christmas and that wanted and jls cd
 
If you are a rock fan try 'Alter Bridge', I have recently bought their 'Blackbird' album. They are from the states but are absolutely awesome.

Well, at the moment, I'm hoovering up a lot of European industrial and aggrotech;
Wynardtage, Nachtmahr, Suicide Commando, Extize, Komor Kommando, X-Fusion

To relax, I enjoy the Buddha Bar compilations (international lounge/club stuff),Jean Michele Jarre, and early Tom Waits.

Also I enjoy Ленинград (Leningrad, extremely rude and fun Russian ska-punk), Юрий Кирсанов (Yuri Kirsanov, a Russian squaddie, who wrote and recorded his songs whilst out in Afghanistan in the 80's. Generally it's just him and his guitar, sometimes with his mates joining in, or reading poetry. His songs often feature local sounds, too. Contacts, the muezzin, BTRs, hinds kicking up a racket. Really captures the emotions he is experiencing, and naturally, banned by the Soviet Union.).

Otherwise, I enjoy most old blues and many of the biggies, like Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Sepultura (but not Soulfly), I like some ridiculous pop nonsense, hard trance, dirty electro (which is really just watered down industrial IMO), and any other bits and bobs which grab my attention. :)
 
my exes dad went to school with Tom Jones down in the valleys, never had you down for a Delilah fan Ed, although its no more freaky than my daughters choices for her I-Tunes i set up for her yesterday, told her to put what she wanted on there, so she went and rumaged in my CD cupboards (she does have her own section in there well away from my stuff), came back with Pink, the wanted, JLS, Olly Murrs (all hers i may add)...... and Elton JOhn and Bruce Springsteen a little freaky for a 10 y o but there you go, oh and then kings of leon and red hot chillis, very diverse taste going on there :)

and looking at the music your young one is going for, she as very good taste apart from olly mars and elton john saying that some of his earley stuff is still good pinball wizard and crocadile rock
nothing wrong with pink i have all hers she is very good and gaga of course but i think thats just a fetish i have for carzy bitches lol
