So to try and get some threads in this new forum I thought that I would ask what you carry your med kit in.

It could be your own personal kit, or your vehicle/team kit.

Bang some photos of it on here, along with some pros and cons, and we can get some recommendations up and running for folks looking for new bags/pouches.

Hi Rescueme

our teams carry a basic kit in a thigh pouch that has a strap that goes around the leg and one to secure it to a waist belt. This is a personal kit we also have a vech kit which is in a large rucksack that has zipped compartments which work well.Hope that helps.

Various diffrent types available as well as prices. Not a fan of tem myself.

Hi

I run a company that runs specialist medical courses and one of the police forces firearms units that I teach has used quickclot and tournequets on the street in this country. In one case both femoral arteries were peirced plus extreme damage to arteries in both arms and a cut throat though no major vessels were cut. They saved this persons life by the use of quickclot and tournequets plus quick thinking. Hope this helps

try www.marom-dolphin.co.il - go into catalogue. they custom make tactical gear for Israeli/US and other Government Special Operations Units for their medics/snipers etc , ive used their gear before and been very happy, they usualy only supply governmet units but if you ask for Zahi and mention the scottish/israeli guy "me " they should supply you.

Stopping Bleeding. Kits

Hi,

I work for the UK company that makes Celox. I have spent a few years now in the area of medical hemostat and would be glad to help with some straight answers to any straight questions. There's a lot of bad info in this industry !!!
