Please reply and leave feedback for the Fri 9th April 2010 - CP World networking event.

Hi all,

Just thought I would post my thoughts whilst fresh on my mind.

As a CPW networking first timer I found the event a positive experience with a good mix of quality suppliers / employers / trainers present. Good opportunities to mingle and chat. The speakers were well selected as they gave a good realistic view of the industry and what employers are looking for.

If I could make one suggestion for the future it would be to have the stands in a seperate room from the speakers, sat in the auditorium it was sometimes difficult to hear the speakers.

Hi everyone,

Just back from the event and wanted to say a big thanks to CPW and all the suppliers / employers / trainers who where there, I could not make it last year but was very impressed with what I saw and heard today.

Very helpful and very informative well done guys and girls.

Will definately be attending next year!!

just got back from a wicked night out thanks to cm and the rest of the cpw team had a really good night i won a prize to lol it was good to put names to faces after all this time hope to see u all agagin next yr oncce again thanks everyone from cpw

Thanks Welshman for your prize ;-) I will put it to good use. I still can't believe I won my OWN raffle prize from all those other good things to win i win my own;-) . But of course it was placed back in the raffle.

Any how I am on the coach back to London Stanstead., with a headache :-).

I have to echo the previous posts, a great night to meet up with friends old and new.
The event is growing in stature and strength and i think with the amount of new members we will require a new venue, as i think we have now out grown the VSC.
Trade stands were very well run and all concerned were very helpful and informative.
quest speakers were as usual right on the money with advise for new operators and the "seasoned vets" etc.
Pitched correctly and relevent to whats happening in the world as it is today.
Again a big thanks to CM and all the team.

See you all next year.

Oh and did i mention i won a prize.!!..:D

Another successful forum of CPW. The organizers have continued to raise the bar each year to higher levels. It is always nice to see some of the top operatives in the industry sharing their knowledge with the forum. The presenters are always top class and very informative.

The training companies made it perfectly clear what they are looking for.

Best wishes and I look forward to the next event.

Echo all the above comments - as a newbie to the industry it was a great source of info and insight that I think would have otherwise taken me years to get. Its also impressive there's so much on offer for just a tenner entry. I'm just still hacked off work called me in before I could see the last speakers or stay for the raffle :mad:

Congratulations John and all those who collaborated with you to make the event a reality.

In relation to the meeting could not be better - the location of the event fantastic and very good area central London and the site has all the conditions to receive the 350 guests.

The speakers as expected with good speeches and very simple and objectives.

Bar service very good
Girls who received us and Annie Fishy very friendly and very professional.

The only negative thing was the lack of respect from some people who were in the room talking about something while the speakers made their speech and this lack of respect and consideration and good manners, but this one can not teach, but can ask the to people not interested in speeches go talk to another site or leave the room ...

A big thank you to everyone on the CPW team for all their hard work. It was a fantastic event and you have done yourself proud by organising this. Once again a great turnout with many fascinating people to meet and finally putting faces to names.

I think the prizes and exhibitors reflect the standing of CPW within the industry with £18,000 worth of prizes! Also well done to everyone for raising so much money for charity.

Already it has grown to a point where a bigger venue will be needed and that is only possible because of the support of the forum members. I look forward to next years event.

Tapmaster - It's OK if 24/7 doesn't remember who you are, senility sets in early in his family :) It was great to finally meet you.
 
Well done to all at CPW for organising a top notch event.
Professionaly organised ,presented and run as expected. With great speeches, revealing insights and intel of what is REALLY required from the Companys that supply the work.

Good to put faces to names and network.

CM toped up the fundraising to a round total for the night of £3000. Brilliant result.:D Big THANKYOU to all the companies that provided the prizes and to the ones who put them back in the hat when they inadvertently won their own prizes. lol Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks very much CPW for a brilliant event.
I learnt loads, talked to some great people and had a fantastic night.

Now all I need to do is work out where to wear my brand new blackhawk tactical cross draw vest!

Thanks again all...it was most deiniftely worth the 450 mile round trip!!
