UKParamedic - passed away

Spoke on the phone many times

Passonate was the word I would use

Remember his recent post of the "Chest decompression", you could tell he was really proud.

Great respect for the man

Condolences to the family and friends

Been away a few days and just reading through posts to catch up, i spoke to him a number of times myself and he was a great chap, good listener and gave good sound advice. Really shocked to hear he has passed away and incredibly saddened by the news, he gave many great posts, and was obviously dedicated and passionate about his work.

Heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends, he will be missed by many

Hi all,

Firstly thanks for all your messages.

Just a quick note to say that I will forward the messages to his mother and family in about a weeks time. I'm sure they will all be greatly appreciated.

Christ, thats not fair, far too young.
He's younger than my kids, a lot to offer for such a youngun.
Always thought him much older, his words certainly spoke of a maturity far beyond his years, sure gave a lot to CPW.
deepest sympathy.

I have been reading his posts and thought he had made some great contributes to Close Protection World.

I was even going to PM him for some advice.

RIP

A sound guy who was passionate about his work. My heartfelt thoughts go out to his family. His advice on the forum will have certainly had an impact on so many people on here. His memory will live on.

Message from UKParamedic's mother.

Thank you for all this, it means a lot. It would seem that Kevin reached a lot of people in his short life. Again this helps us as a family. To know that, although his life was short, he certainly managed to fit a lot into it. What has come across to me from the many people who have been left devastated is Kevin's passion. His passion for what he believed in and for what he worked at, his passion for life and the living.

I have been reading a lot of speculation about Kevin's passing. And it is all just that, speculation. It was sudden and unexpected, Kevin had no underlying medical problems. I do know however, that they are looking at his heart as his dad passed away at the age of 38 from a heart attack. I won't know anymore until the inquest which will take approx 6mths, usual time for such a sudden death in someone so young.
